  This is my first time taking part in 7DRL. This project is based on a game that had already been in development before the challenge. I wanted to create something completely different: a kind of “air combat” concept.

  With that idea in mind, I designed a wuxia-inspired character and gave him the ability to run along walls and across rooftops. In my original vision, he would be able to stay airborne through martial arts skills, then launch diving attacks or use wide-area hidden-weapon techniques while in midair.

  In short, I pushed the project forward around that core idea. However, by the end of the week, I felt that I had not fully completed it.

  All of the more traditional roguelike elements come from the foundation of the original project. The unique additions made for this 7DRL version are:

  - A wuxia character

  - Seven martial arts abilities (including both active and passive skills)

  - Three height-related environmental elements: a deep pit, a high platform, and a tall pillar

  - A visual “pseudo-3D” height indicator system

  - A Qi system and its related recovery items

  In the end, I do not feel that I fully achieved the original concept, so I am marking this version as unfinished.
